The CMS and Pacific Cetaceans MoU Secretariat welcomes the recent establishment of the Technical Advisory Group (TAG) for the CMS Pacific Cetacean MoU. |

The TAG is designed to assist signatories with all scientific issues relating to cetacean conservation in the region.
This will include the review of CMS-related documents and requirements such as editing and updating the species’ record.
Initial tasks for the TAG will include the preparation of a summary of cetacean information on behalf of the signatories to submit at the CMS COP10.
The TAG is comprised of nine experts, who were nominated by the MoU signatories.
